A Christmas List

Usually I never read these wish lists blogs but I just couldn't resists making one! I honestly enjoy day-dreaming about my wish list more than I like actually acquiring the items in it. Anyway, here's what I'm currently dreaming about:

I'm currently obsessing over beanies. Anyone know of a place to find reasonably priced beanies?

Blogger Love

I discovered blogs about three years ago via my friend, Amelia, and I love them. Readily accessible and relevant reading material from friends and even famous bloggers? What's not to love? What I'm less willing to admit is that I read A LOT of them. Lots and lots of blogs and yet I still want more! More and MORE. So I'm going to share some of my favorite reads in the hopes that you'll share some of your picks. Pretty please?
Joanna Goddard at A CUP of JO is a classic. She's a magazine writer, turned blogger and has entertaining material everyday, sometimes several times a day. I have a feeling we'd be best friends in real life.
Jenny Komenda at Little Green Notebook is a design genius. On her blog she gives great design inspiration and DIYs that make great interior decorating seem attainable.
Sydney Poulton at The Daybook started out as a fashion blogger but has since expanded her blog to include more of a lifestyle aspect. I love her beautifully written musings and her adorable little boy.
Lizzie B. at Cotton and Curls is a DIY fashionista. Her blog includes sewing tutorials and brilliant up-cycles. Check out where she up-cycled a pair of grandma pants into high waisted beauties. I use her for all my sewing needs.
Anna Dorfman at Door Sixteen makes me want to rip up all our floors and take on house renovations that I am wholly unqualified to start. She, too, is a designer with a rocking-London design style.
Allie at Hyperbole and a Half writes about hilarious life-stories accompanied by Microsoft Paint illustrations. She addresses diverse topics such as childhood misconeptions, stupid dogs, and depression.
Lindsay at Pinch of Yum has THE food blog to read. Not only does she share incredible recipes, she produces a food photography book, and talks about all the ins and outs of food blogging, trade secrets most bloggers are unwilling to doll out.

So what are your blog favorites?

Calling All Lovers Of Fotobooths

Maybe it's the Asian pride in me or maybe it's just too much pinterest but I have an undying love of all fotobooths, even those itty bitty ones in the mall that only seat 1 1/2 people. So when Asia asked me to put together a guest sign in for Leslie's bridal shower all I could see was cheesy props and pictures in groups of three. Considering our limited supplies in Jerusalem I think it turned out really nicely. End product:

I might be a little proud, but mostly I'm completely stoked that this could actually work for my (distant) future wedding. Of course I'm planning a wedding without a boyfriend. Who needs a boy when you have pinterest? ...Don't answer that.

"I'd Marry You For Your Money In a Minute"

Words to live by. I've FINALLY just watched Breakfast at Tiffany's and I have absolutely NO idea how I have managed all this time without it. I'm obsessed. Absolutely in love. I can't get enough of Audrey Hepburn's impeccable wardrobe. Every piece is perfect. Take for instance this women's hat.

I NEED that hat! Really I do. For Jerusalem I am expected to bring a wide-brimmed hat for extended outdoor excursions. And this neckline!

I die. Even her sleep mask and earplugs are heaven-sent.

Perhaps you have no care for wardrobes? Never fear, this film is also for the wildly romantic.

Kissing in the rain over a cat? Yes, please!

YOU GOT JIMMERED

A journal entry:

I forgot to write in my journal yesterday. Baaaaad, baaaaaaad me L. But essentially I spent my Wednesday waiting for the GAME OF THE CENTURY to start. First an hour in line outside the basketball arena and then another two hours before the game BUT EVERY MOMENT WAS SOOOOO WORTH IT. And all things considered I really got the best seats for the least amount of work.

This game authorities required that you have got a wristband the day before and, instead of waiting in line for three hours for said wristband, I came three minutes before they stopped handing them out and was number 3871 in line as opposed to Sterling Williams and Greg Pagel, who waited the three hours and were number 700 something in line. But guess who we snuck in with? That’s right, Amelia and I just jumped right into line with Greg and Sterling and strutted into the Marriot Center like we had no manners.

So game of the century you ask? BYU ranked 9th. SDSU ranked 3rd. Jimmer scored 43 points. Cougars had NINE, count them, NINE steals. BYU 71, SDSU 58. The first three quarters of the game were nail-biting close but somewhere in the second half SDSU lost it and couldn’t get it back. It was probably the Jimmer Shimmer, or perhaps the Fredette Roulette. In other words I CAN NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT JIMMER FREDETTE. Afterward BYU fans stormed the court but I just sat there like a grinning idiot. Great game, boys.

I'm in love! I'm in love! I'm in love!

So sasssssy.

I'm in love and this time it's with Emma Stone. Let me tell you all the wonderful things Wikipedia and iMBD has told me about her via photo essay.

"Stone attended Xavier College Preparatory,[6] an all-girl Catholic high school, as a freshman for one semester.[9] She gave a PowerPoint presentation to her parents, set to the Madonnasong "Hollywood", to convince them to let her move to California for an acting career.[9][10] She dropped out of high school, and in January 2004, moved with her mother to a Los Angelesapartment, at the age of fifteen." - Wikipedia

Emma Stone looks great as a redhead.

Emma Stone also looks awesome as a blonde.

Emma Stone looks great always.

Especially with a gun.

Growling becomes her.

Where else can you find such beauty and sass? That there is a whole package.

Emma dates among the elite. Namely attractive singer/songwriters named Teddy Geiger.

Emma also befriends the elite. I love you tay-tay.

'Nuff said.
